THE CHARACTERS OF GOR
SAUYA MOONLIGTH-THE JOURNEY OF A WOMAN
This is the simple story of a common girl, like many you meet on the Planet, born happy and playful in a village in the North, from a poor but honest family where the father with sound principles educated his family in respect for others, preserving his own Honor and freedom.
Since she was little her mother, a simple woman of sound principles, taught her daughter as her own mother had taught her, the maintenance of the house, taking care of the family and working in the fields when the weather allowed it.
She grew up healthy and happy, in her few free moments she played in the small village square with her friends, and when she was already grown up her mother, despite the fact that the people of the North do not like school education, insisted that her daughter attend a village sage who gave lessons in writing and reading ancient books.
Life for the young Suya was happy, her aspirations were to become a good farmer on her own farm, to have her own family, to raise children, teaching them everything she had learned from her parents, she dreamed of traveling to the South, she heard from the Merchants who arrived during the summer with their goods exchanging them with skins and artifacts from the artisans of the village, she dreamed of a big city of beautiful clothes, a house with the comforts that in the village and in their shack they did not have.
One year winter was coming but the biting cold already announced it would be harsh, every year many died from the cold or buried in the snow without food or water, so the men of the village gathered and decided to organize a ship headed south with the young people eager to leave that hell of snow that already covered everything.
Suya was chosen to face that journey together with others, she gathered the few things she had, some memories a medallion that her mother had received from her grandmother, they had passed it down for generations, it wasn't much but it was the only thing of value she had together with some Cooper Tarsk that her father had closed in a handkerchief tying it to his belt, and they left.
The journey was very hard, the snow fell heavily, sometimes the horizon was blurred and the sun was only a memory, but she now felt like a woman, a strong woman from Thorwasland, hardened by the cold and the need to work to survive, she had spent a lot of time in her small field growing fruit and vegetables for the winter and taking care of their Tarsk from which they obtained milk for cheese, now sitting there on that ship she imagined what could have been in the city, a better life becoming rich marrying a Prince who would have taken her to his palace.
But the reality was very different from the dreams, when they arrived at the small town of Heimjord, the only job she found was that of the dairy, that is, working in a dairy where they produced milk and other derivatives for the expertise, a hard job, but she adapted easily, the women of the North are tough and hard-working, but this village was also devastated by the snow so together with others they left for the city of Tabor, where a man took a liking to her and started her working on the farm giving her the opportunity to enter the category of farmers.
One day he left for a long journey to the south, and alone she could not continue to live without someone, so she left for the city of Rarir, she worked there for some time, the nostalgia of Talbolt brought her to return, the memory of her protector and of working in the fields, free without the frenzy of a city, but when she arrived everything had changed, there was no longer the love for that place she had had with her protector friend, so she returned to Rarir,.
One day while she was at the market with her products, she saw a tall man with long blond hair almost white with blue eyes, beautiful with his angel face, she was struck by lightning, she fell in love at first sight, luckily he stopped right at her station and spoke to her, he introduced himself as a high Magistrate of Gor passing through on his way to the north to find his adoptive mother, and while waiting for spring he would stop in the City and if the administrator needed he could work as a Magistrate.
Darian this was the name that the beautiful Suya heard from the man's mouth, a beautiful name as beautiful as he was in his white and purple robe of the Magistrates, but clearly a robe used by the princes of Tahara, Suya put herself at the Lord's disposal helping him in the search for the inn and taking him to the house of the administrator sir Fred.
The Magistrate never missed an opportunity to admire the fine features of the Farmer and that's how the spark that would turn into love ignited between them.
