I'm showing you some photos of the tents at the "The Thing 2026" fair. I apologize to anyone I couldn't find. I wandered around a lot, despite not having a map or a list, but I managed to capture most of them.
I hope you enjoy my work. Thank you in advance.

AT WORLD'S END PIRATES

Journey among the Pirates

In a remote corner of the Thing Fair, I came across a Pirates' tent. Over the years, I'd never delved into their culture, though I often encountered ships or taverns in coastal ports. In fact, the name of their island is quite mysterious. "At the End of the World," that's their name, strangely far from Anango, the Pirates' Island, much further south than my Oasis in the Thassa Sea.

I approached that tent with caution and suspicion, but unexpectedly, a woman named Cyrene welcomed me, along with Sir Altan, Sir Bob, and Sir Albreght, the guest. The slave Troy was on hand to serve rum to the guests.

sir Bob

They told me about their remote island, where few people ever reach, but then, after overcoming the pirates' curiosity, they invited me to visit the island, and one morning I set out early with my Tarm and reached their village.

sir Altan

At that time, few people were on the island; many were on trading trips and others at the Thing fair. I made some sketches of the village and the island, which I'll post below, then set off again to return to the fair.

(At the fair, I have my tent where I represent the newspaper and the Oasis, and I have a stall in the central area of the fair. Many readers read the newspaper these days, I'm happy.)

I MET A WARRIOR FROM THE NORTH    (PORT  HUNJER-TRIPOD VILLAGE)

SIR ALBREGHT (JARL)

While wandering in vain through the Thing fair, I finally found someone near a tent with many northern insignia. I approached and was greatly surprised to meet a great warrior. I introduced myself, and he told me he was Albright, jarl of the village on the island of Hunjer. He was accompanied by a slave and a warrior named Tamiris, also armed to the teeth. The slave was a tall, blonde woman named Brandy. She had that name, she said, because she was in charge of distilling Brandy on her island. Out of respect, she gave me a small cask of that wonderful brandy. I took the opportunity to give them a copy of the newspaper. I said I couldn't read, but they would see the sketches I add to the articles.

LADY TOMINIS

They invited me to visit their village and advertise it for trade with the other peoples of Gor. I promised to visit them as soon as possible and that I would write about their island of Hunjer.

official Gorean maps the Isle of Hunjer is a far northern island west of mainland Torvaldsland

Hunjer is more sizable than surrounding islands such as Skjern and Scagnar that are protectorates and under the control of Hunjer, its settlement larger than a steading or village as it has a large port complete with an expansive set of docks and shipyards that are owned by the High Jarl himself as well as warehouses, taverns, and other things you would find in a normal port city of Gor but of course in a complete Torvaldsland setting surrounding an inlet harbor where the vast fleet of Hunjer sits anchored when not out pillaging Thassa or plying their trade
