CITY OF CAEROS-VARON

A new stop on the canoe route, this time we landed on the island of Caeros, a large, clean city built according to the standards of old Gor, with its caste towers and its large port where ships fill the docks and people crowd the square in front with its warehouses and shops.

I arrived early in the morning; there weren't many people around, just a few guards at the large gate in the city walls. After showing my credentials, I entered through the gate where the commercial street winds with many shops and stalls. I didn't want to disturb Sir Raza Rhaimi Leidolf; it was still early to open his office. The guards supplied me on my rounds.

There were no slaves around, even the taverns were closed with their tables occupied. What struck me were the gardens with their benches and flowering trees, the extremely clean streets, nothing around to suggest abandonment; the city would awaken soon.

Just as I was heading towards the Caste Towers, I met a free woman on my way. and the head of the Scribe caste.

She had conflicting memories of him. Initially, we became friends right away in the Scribe caste, but with the arrival of LC (Lord Cougar), things changed, until the fall of the city of Cartassa, which was then rebuilt as an Oasis many years later.

After touring the city far and wide. I made many sketches of the best spots, it was time to leave. The island is not far from the cities of Brundisium and Baku; I would decide where to go during the trip.
