 THE CONGO FAMILY STORY

Yusud-Asad

Congo Rashid listens as he takes a sip from his bowl, then takes a deep breath looking at Sabayna......and says: lady Sabayna there's a lot going on that I'm trying to understand, but it's a few people eeee I'm not sure why why they perform these actions, but sooner or later the light will come out of the darkness, but this is not directed at you lady Sabayna.

meanwhile Sir Qaza observes the movements of his Kajira as she serves the guests sitting under the large tent, then asks for some grape juice. Kajira promptly runs towards the servery to fulfill the master's wish.

Meanwhile, Lady Mae, the Pasha's companion, welcomes her sister, saying that she is welcome even if she travels with other castes and flags.

 Sabayna

listen carefully to Congo's words: "Yes, there have been several misunderstandings and lack of information. I have already talked about this with your son recently. Now the question is how can we get the Sandkaiila freed from the quicksand of the dune again."

Yusud-Asad son of the pasha and lady Mae says: I hope that today Lady Sabyana will take note of what I will say for the transition to the 4 STA from your Comaniaon Rarius, then I hope that everyone will understand.

Congo Rashid says: listen to it.. well, in the beginning, the truth must be known, there are people who have been here longer and have documentation of things, as you know my land is according to the rules, not a made up story. . this story has been carried forward and respected.. others should know and follow how things are, or at least talk to those who have the history and documentation of things.. clarify things or at least ask for their blessing.. while it does a pause for a while, then speak again.. I am not a harsh or mean man, I am a very understanding person, but I walk with the truth and I am close at hand Lady Sabayna. I will not bend for anyone, while the truth is hidden.. I will not do it nor will my family and my people.. I respect so others give back the same.. but soon you will hear what the truth is. . look son of her... are you ready to tell the truth, son..

Yusud_Asad says: I think everyone is served "take a sip" let me so if you, my father, give permission to talk about our history and our journey.

Sabayna I think everyone is served "

Sabayna nods to Congo and Yusud: “I am listening carefully and will gladly pass this on to my comrade Yuroki, Vizier. who could not come, but I can assure you that he is on your side, especially since he has lived the whole story himself since Teehra, Cartassa and the Silver Stone Oasis.

Congo Rashid tells his son about him. please tell the story of our Congo family

let's begin...........

Yusud_Asad says: salaam/tal/greetings to all and thank you for attending this meeting about the Congo family and their journey through Gor.

Let's start with Congo, who was Ibn Saran? We don't know who ibn Saram's parents were, the only thing we know is that he was the son of Saran because Ibn means son of. From the documents we have ((btb) he was Ubarsalt and apparently the creator of this lineage of several descendants, since he was married to Anastazia Bellecoeur Saran, who were the parents of Ibn Saran, we do not know. The only thing we know is that he was son of Saran because Ibn means son of.

From this union they had 14 descendants, we deduce that they are all direct, we do not know which ones were adopted. but we will talk about a direct line of these descendants.

let's not forget that Ibn Sara was an agent of the kurri and that he brings the aerospace ship to destroy all the gor

Sabayna nods, remembering that SARAN and Anastasia once invited her to their Dune Guard Kasbah.

Yusud continues:

Eleonora Bint Saran, one of the daughters of Ibn Saran because Bint means Daughter of, was the companion of Java Hakim, who had the following children Sarana Bint Hakim, Avalon Bint Saran, Junayd Ibn Hakim, from the documents we have, but we know that there are they are others until such time as we currently have your documents. he nods

: Sarana Bint Hakim went with Lux, who later became known as Nazım al-Malik Ibn Yusuf, one of the descendants of the family descended from Hakimm whose lineage dates back more than 4 years. generations, the fact that such a union was permitted under Gorean civil laws, who had several descendants:

Firstborn son: Ra'id Ibn Hakim

Second son: Básim al-Asad Ibn Yusuf

Third son: Jabari Adheem Ibn Yusuf,

Daughter: Zakera Qandi Bint Yusuf, Safiwah Elmas Bint Yusuf

Granddaughter: Ta'alah Bolour Bint Yusuf

Grandson: Abu Hârûn ibn Jabari and Khalil Farras ibn Jabari are born. It should be remembered that Sarana Bint Hakim was the granddaughter of IBn saran or ubar salt, as there was a hakim in that lineage, so one of the hakin lines became ubar salt by descent starting from one of his sons to this day, his son Ra 'id Ibn Hakim

Yusud recalls that the sons of Sarana and Yusud were pashas of some Oases Jabari Adheem Ibn Yusuf of teehra with his compagnon

later Jabari Adheem Ibn Yusuf became known as Jabari Hideo Ibn Yusuf became high pasha of teeehra and aretal, his companion Mariah bint Zuhayr having his sons and daughters:

Abu Hârûn ibn Jabari

Khalil Farras ibn Jabari

Zainab Gul-e-Rana bint Jabari

Zulaikha Allat bint Jabari

Rashid Umar ibn Jabari later known as Congo Rashid Umar ibn Jabari

Tarek Mus'ad Ibn Jabari

Jabari Adham ibn Jabari

Sadiq Ala'al din ibn Jabari for the references and what we know, Pasha of Red Rock

Salome al-Aliah bint Jabari

Jada Ara bint Jabar father warriors (Jabari Hideo Ibn Yusuf)

(Sabayna seems impressed by this extraordinary genealogy.)

Jabari, victor of the Aretai, owner of the land of sand and salt, right flank of the Thousand, guardian of the gates and master of a thousand slaves confer on my son

Khalil Farras ibn Jabari, the title of High Pasha, Victorious of the Aretai, Son of the Mountain, Right Flank of the Thousand, Guardian of the Gates and Master of the Thousand Slaves

Abu Harun ibn Jabari, triumphant of the Aretai, son of the mountain, right flank of the Thousand, protector of the gates and right hand of Teehra

We also know that after the Battle of Red Rock Oasis, and when the Tashid were defeated, this tribe became vassal of the Aretai, Red Rock is still a vassal of the Tashid and sub-vassal of the Aretai.

The oasis of Tashid and his tribe were ruled by one of the descendants of the aretal by a son or grandson of Java Hakin and later by one of the descendants of Yusud. and it still remains so today.

As in every battle, whoever loses things changes, including the pashas of these places, nothing more natural, consequences of war another thing is natural that when there are alliances between oases, cities and towns or settlements, fixed or nomadic, often these pashas, tribal leaders, revoke these alliances and befriend their descendants from different tribes or oases to be companions and have sons and daughters, thus keeping the bloodline broader and strengthened and these will then become your pasha children , the most natural thing for this to happen. therefore our descendants are scattered in different oases such as pashas and others and throughout Gor.

Congo Rashid Umar ibn Jabari, one of the sons of Jabari Hideo Ibn Yusuf and Mariah bint Zuh, as we have seen above, was also a warrior and commander of a group of fighters, including his position in the strategic defense of Teehra as well as in the battle , however I am going to become a healer or doctor for many years, where he met his pupil Mae, who later became free companion and a passion and unconditional love and dedication for each other. Later he was called by Jabari his father because he needed him and began to teach him the steps of Pasha, since he was prince of the Aretais and Teehra tribes.

he taught him this subject and was later sent to Cartassa to gain experience as a Pasha. For a few years he resumed the theera and subsequently, after a short time, the seals of Teehra and the testimony of the high pasha and head of the aretal and the pasha of Teehra. who until now maintains this position, where he was forced to stop being a healer to become a pasha, although even when necessary he still helps in the infirmary because he loves being a healer.

As time went by, the Congo healer or doctor became a great provider in this matter as well as one of its elders, helping with his knowledge many cities and people around the world and widely recognized as the Congo doctor throughout the country, saving many people with your knowledge.

as Lady Mae said, she was a student from the Congo, where they fell in love and later, after Lady Mae's studies ended, they would become free companions, understanding up to this point and maintaining it.

Lady Mother also has an interesting and important lineage, her mother was the blessed healer Alethia, descendant of the Tuchcuk and her father the blessed Torvie and the High Jarl, he calls it all the clans united against the great invasion of the Kurri against Gor ( (documented and mentioned in the books)), who won this battle, we know that they had 18 descendants (sons and daughters), their grandfather, a great leader of the tuchucks, they did something among the wagons, who was the one who succeeded to unite the tuchuck tribes well, don't worry, you'll know

now let's talk about your lineage as my mother's brother

later other tribes not like the tuchucks, for example the napoliam tribes among others, who are scattered throughout the gor like unian chariots of all the tribes. from her companion everyone heard about Lady Kaiila, the eldest of the doctors and creator of study methods for all new students, and approved by the entire gor. This is the lineage of Lady Mae and who later became companion of Congo and Pasha katoun of the aretais and of teehra now of the tashid and their oases, from whom they had the following descendants:

nieces and nephews: the list of existence as well as nieces and nephews and cousins and so on

It's about the lineage of both Congo and Mae and where they fit into Gor's roleplaying, who they were and what they are as well as their dispositions from Gor, we have them spread across all castes except an Initiate. as far as we know eehra chuckles we talk about it a bit as well as tashid and why we are in tashid.

Teehra is the capital of the Aretals, located At the southern end of the Voltai mountain range, near the lower Fayeen River, lies Teehra. It is an essential outpost to support and preserve the mercantile trade and the precious salt caravans departing from Tahari. The people inhabiting Teehra are divided into four groups; Dayf Alsharf or, Guest of Honour, Badu or, Nomads, Rijal Qabayil or, Tribe and eabd or slave Teehra is a land held by the proud Aretai, whose vassal tribes include; Arani, Luraz, Raviri, Tashid, Ti and Zevar. Tajuk in some situations

Mae tells him: have you forgotten Sidra he replies laughing...she is older than me

Sabayna nods, "A truly remarkable genealogy, Vizier. Without a doubt, you are one of the oldest and most respected families in southern Gor."

Yusud says ~ yes and as from the chariots and clans trives

Teehra is an amalgamation of people and it is their lifestyle that separates them. The people of Teerha are divided into large groups, the nomadic ones, called Badu, who prefer to travel, and the Rijal Qabayil, who are settled. The Badu are driven by simple needs; independence, pastures for the sustenance of the flocks, water, food. They prefer to camp outside the city walls when the need to trade brings them into the city. Rijal Qabayil, known to the Badu as "the other half", is still. They are artisans, traders, farmers and craftsmen. People who need to travel, such as doctors or tinsmiths, are considered Rijal Qabayil because their life is linked to the city.

the Pasha nods

we can forget about the tahariThe Badu consider themselves equal to each other, which cannot be said of the Rijal Qabayil, whose wealth inequality leads to disparities that do not exist in Badu Culture.

Despite these differences in lifestyle, Badu and Rijal Qabayil coexist and consider themselves "one tribe" in Teerha, Aretai. They share a common language, a common culture and a common code of ethics and behavior that shape their daily lives; honor, home, family and hospitality.

The district of Teehra is large because it occupies the entire extent of the vassal oasis, as a commercial city it is also a station or one of the trading posts in the entire tahari, as TOr one of the vassal oases of the Aretals, and its pashas descendants of Ibn Saran and Hakim, the one who took their descendants were rich and great pashas, since for Tashid after the loss of freedom he became a vassal of the aretals and ruled by pashas descendants of the aretals, as was done with the red rock, thus increasing his dominion As far as it's about the war between aretal and tashid, the reason was never really defined, but as always the Tajuk spread rumors and rumors about things that never happened, they just do To have a war and participate in it, this tribe of Tajuk became or joined the Aretai They reportedly found that some warriors found a member of this tribe, lost in the desert, fed him and treated his wounds. He survived, apparently, and then became a vassal of the Aretai.

In the battle against IBN Saran and his followers, when the great leaders of the Aretai and Kavar were mortal enemies, the day

In the battle against IBN Saran and his followers, when the great leaders of the Aretai and Kavar were mortal enemies, on the battlefield, after learning that they had been deceived by IBN Saran and a group of outlaws led by Tarna, a woman warrior, they gathered and marched together for the first time with all their vassals. before they decided to leave, the Tajuk khan only shouted that he was going to war and that he wanted war, a decision between the two great Tahri tribes to go to war, which destroyed the kabash (fort) of the dune guards and where ibn sran who Was Ubarsalt and that residence of Ubar,

: Kilma never had nor any Ubar live there. but rather a salt master that every inhabitant of Kilma is a free man condemned to live and die in the Kilma salt mines, there are only those coded as slaves in the mines, their skills as free from their castes were used to document salt records, wound treatment, etc. One of the best known salt masters is Tzet, when the dune guards arrived in Kilma there are only keneels and nothing else, such as historical curse records

hen the dune guards arrive at KIlma, they stand close together, they don't even go into their kaillas, they unload their supplies and load the salt cylinders and release them and mark the KIlma fort, if you may say so.

In the aftermath of this battle, the enemies shared salt and water and established themselves as Tahari according to Tahari traditions and customs.

From this meeting between all the tribes, a new Ubarsalt was named, as we have seen, a descendant of Hakim and Bint Saran, and his descendants still remain because all the tribes decided so, including for a certain period also that of Ubarsalt.

When Teehra was engulfed in an extreme sandstorm, Quakl was completely buried, its citizens took refuge in several oases scattered throughout Tahari, Congo and many of its citizens took refuge in the Tashid Oasis, which was for these inhabitants and tribe proclaimed his pasha and chief, thus becoming head of two tribes and two oases, teehra swallowed by the storm and the aretal and the tashid. The Ba'du tribe has returned to the position of teehra as well as other nomadic tribes, to bring forth teehra, they are supported by water, food and everything they need to live in such a place by all aretals and gods their vassals. Who knows if one day we will get Teehra back.

about the pasha of red rock as Spin knows, one day he will visit our oasis and ask my father if he is Tarek's family, yes, he is Tarek Mus'ad Ibn Jabari was the point of reference for a pasha of Red Rock and his private descendants are the pash

as of the Red Rock Oasis

This is the story of the Congo family, Teehra and Tashid and why we are in Tashid. and if one day teehra returns to osi of Tashid she will have a pasha's price designed by my father

Lady Mae Leidolf El Congo

: She gently taps my shoulder in Gorean applause. Thank you, my son. If you ever get tired of becoming Vazier, I think you could make a living as a storyteller

THE STORY OF LADY SABAYNA
PART 5 THE SALT WAR

In my last part I reported how we slipped into a war with Ianda and the Southern Trade Alliance of Gor (STA) in Vigo. Our administrator Brody had been provoked by Ianda and persuaded by our ally Turia to launch a surprise attack on Ianda in order to steal the Home Stone.

Of course, as spontaneous as it was, it went wrong. Our warriors were defeated, our administrator was wounded and the entire STA, thirteen cities in total, declared war on us. Against us stood Ianda, most of the Tahari cities and oases such as Tor, Klima, Sand Sleen and Nine Wells and also Isfahan, which at the time was still east of the Tahari on the slopes of the southern Voltai Mountains.

In Vigo we only gradually found out what had happened. Our military situation was, there is no other way to put it, desperate. In the High Council we elected a new leader to lead us through the life-threatening crisis. And we were lucky in our misfortune, because we gained an extraordinarily capable and energetic Ubar, Liam Whitesong.

The new Ubar Liam immediately initiated the most necessary measures for our defense. Our warriors, as far as they still existed, were brought back to Isfahan, and our city prepared to defend itself. Liam had the suburb down by the Cartius completely demolished and moved all the houses there into the city.

I too had to give up my beautiful trading palace and was assigned the former tavern as my new home. In the lower hall, where the dance floor for the tavern kajirae had previously been, my desk was now located, and the warehouse was now also there. I moved into my apartment above it.

In the High Council we prepared ourselves for new tasks that the war brought with it. Our warriors regularly undertook combat exercises under the guidance of Commander Cetan Stoneshield and were well prepared for an attack from the Tahari. Brody, who had since recovered from his injuries and was able to resume his work as administrator alongside Liam, forged an alliance with warriors from other cities on Gor, the so-called S.H.I.E.L.D. They were mercenaries; in an emergency we could have hoped for reinforcements.

Our first healer, Lady Ardeesha Algoma, organized medical care with her caste. The healing shop was in the middle of the city, so that in the event of a siege, wounded people could have been brought there from all sides, and a shelter was set up in the basement of the healing shop. In the event of an attack, all women in the city were to gather there to help care for the wounded.

Lady Marie, the first scribe, and our Ambassador Phoenix developed a great deal of diplomatic activity to gain new allies and to restore our reputation in Gor, which had suffered greatly due to the accusations of Ianda. They applied for admission to the trade alliance led by Turia, which was also called the Southern Trade Alliance, which caused a lot of confusion. Thanks to their diplomatic skills, they actually managed to gain strong allies, such as Port Olni and Port Cos in the north, or, for us in the south, the then Nyoka, which opened the trade route to us via the Cartius and Nyoka Rivers into the bay of Port Schendi.

Their greatest success was undoubtedly an alliance with Genesian Port, a rich trading port on southern Thassa, which also wanted to join the trade alliance of Turia and Sulport.

My task as the first trader of Vigo was to convert our economy to a war economy. Essentially, this involved three areas:

1. Bringing enough supplies into the city and storing them so that we could withstand a siege.

2. Acquiring war goods that were essential for our defense, such as iron for our blacksmith Kyser so that he could produce weapons.

3. Designing an economic policy that aimed to enable us to finance our defense against superior forces while at the same time causing significant economic damage to our opponents.

This is exactly where I started. Our main export item was the yellow salt that had been discovered in a cave on the mountain before Vigo was founded. I increased our salt production considerably by making all slaves, with the exception of the favorites of our administrator Brody and our Ubar Liam, work in the salt mine.

This meant that I always had a lot of salt available that I could bring to market. Our most important trade routes had remained open thanks to Lady Marie's diplomatic successes, and so we were able to transport our salt via the northern Silk Road to Torcodino, via the Cartius and the Nyoka a to Port Schendi and by land west to Turia, Kargash and Kamras.

We had so many trade routes to choose from that our opponents could not block them all at once, unless they had besieged our city and sealed it off on both sides of the Cartius.

We expected that, of course. But amazingly, that is exactly what did not happen, and that was our salvation. The fact that our city was not besieged, taken and destroyed by Ianda and his allies in this situation is what I would like to call the second miracle of Vigo after the discovery of our salt deposits.

In retrospect, historians may research why the expected siege did not take place. There were certainly two important reasons for this.

1. Ianda, as our main opponent, could not have intervened directly in the siege of Vigo due to its geostrategic location. Ianda was a naval power and was not able to carry out long sieges far from the coast. On the way to Vigo, it would also have had to pass Turia, which was our most important ally and considered by Ianda to be a more important opponent. Ianda therefore preferred to tackle Turia first, but this did not mean that we were taken off Ianda's menu.

2. Without direct support from Ianda, Tor and the Tahari oases that were hostile to us had little desire to launch an attack on Vigo that could have cost us a lot of money. The Tahari towns were probably not prepared for a long siege either. Because in our vicinity, only Kasra on the Fayheen had siege engines.

It must be said, however, that at this time the towns that were involved in the trade in salt from Klima were not yet aware of the economic threat that our own salt trade posed to them. Because of our location on the Cartius and at the southern end of the Northern Silk Road, our trade had a decisive advantage:

We did not have to take our salt out of the Tahari on long and dangerous caravan routes, as was the case with the salt from Klima. This made our export costs cheaper and I could always keep my offers below the price of Klima salt without having to accept economic losses.

In our immediate vicinity, the war had thus become a "frozen war", if that term is even appropriate for the Tahari. Or, to be more specific, the war had - at least for us - frozen into a pillar of salt.

In Turia, however, things were different. Ianda had received reinforcements from Kassau and was now regularly attacking Turia, albeit without any notable success. The white walls of Turia were even more powerful than the fortifications of Vigo.

But that did not mean that we did not suffer from battles and raids in Vigo. There was a group of Northmen, the Midgaards, who regularly advanced to Vigo via the Thassa, the Nyoka and the Cartius and raided our city.

The Midgaards kept coming. I remember five raids during the time I was in Vigo. I was captured by the Midgaards three times, as were other ladies in the city, but we always got free because Liam, Brody and Cetan left no stone unturned to free us.

When we managed to get to safety in the shelter under the healer's shop, we heard the Midgaards searching everything above us and taking everything they could use. Fortunately, they never set fire to the city, but why should they? They wanted to come back to make new raids.

In any case, when we heard the call "All Midgaards out!" in our shelter above us, we knew that we had survived for a while - until the next attack. The Midgaards were a plague that we had to endure regularly, but they were never a threat to Vigo's existence.

We had secured our salt and our stocks of goods so well in hidden warehouses that the Midgaards had no access to them. This enabled us to continue our trade.

After the situation had stabilized, I undertook several extensive trips across Gor and was now able to regularly attend the Sardar markets. I traveled via Torcodino and Ar, visited the area of the Salerian Confederation with the cities of Lara, Vonda, Port Olni and Ti, and traveled down the Vosk Valley to Jorts Ferry, Victoria, Port Cos and Sulport.

I also visited my relatives in Nadira. Unfortunately, my brother-in-law Ajax, who was my protector as the closest male relative, died at that time ((Ajax [Igor Catseye] died in February 2013 in RL after a long illness with cancer.)) Dupie, the initiate of Nadira, held a moving memorial service

I stayed in Nadira for a while with my sister Kareen to support and comfort her. Finally, Kareen decided to accompany me to Vigo with her two sons. She set up an apartment in my trading house and opened a bakery right next to my perfumery, which I continued to run. ((The Nadira sim was closed in the meantime.)) Some time later, she and her children moved on to the oasis of the two scimitars, where most of her friends had settled.
Yes, she died some time later too ((also of cancer in real life, in November 2013))
The frozen war became a habit, and cultural life in Vigo flourished. We celebrated the Sa-Tarna festival, although we didn't grow any Sa-Tarna - I had previously had the Sa-Tarna imported from the plain of Ko-Ro-Ba. We hosted two major Zar tournaments. Two slave houses took care of the training of the Kajirae.
Yes, Asrary and Kaema did. And Laura Tarnsman. And even then I was constantly losing.
Kama
Kama painted the picture of me that you can find on all the boxes for my perfume bottles. It was taken during the first Zar tournament in Vigo.
Yes, I had my very first match against Thais.
But I learned to dance instead. Taema also offered a course for free women, which I also took part in. My dancing skills didn't get past the beginner stage, but I did learn some basics. ((Except how to program the Barren Dance Hud with an NC, I still haven't figured that out to this day.))
Oh, congratulations, dear prince.
Trade between Vigo and Turia was particularly intense. Turia held wine and Ka-La-Na markets, which I regularly visited with the Merlot that grew on our slopes. It was a real alternative to the sweet Turian liqueur and was therefore in great demand.
Oh yes, the Merlot from Vigo was famous. ((A particular preference of Brody, who was a passionate Merlot drinker in real life.))
My perfumes, which I supplied to the merchants of Turia, Lady Ehnna and Sir Dusty, were particularly in demand. Once there was a large order from Dusty, who ordered forty individual perfumes from me, which he offered to the ladies of the city as signature perfumes. Of course, that was a lot of work for my workshop, but I also earned very well from it:
They were all custom-made, my Khan.
I became very, very rich in the meantime. You are probably wondering how I managed all this. Well, I had good support. First there was Lady Amber, who had been part of the Free Maiden with me in Bazi and has now also become a perfumer. She had a second perfumery in Vigo and was my second merchant. I also had two very capable slaves, Sura, who had already served my parents in Bazi, and Sabine, a Kajira that I had bought somewhere.
Our application to be accepted into the Turia Trade Alliance dragged on, although Lady Ehnna, the main trader of Turia, was very supportive. I remember a summit meeting in Port Cos that Brody, Marie and I went to. We were supposed to introduce ourselves there and then a vote on our acceptance was supposed to take place.
But when the time was already well advanced, only half of the agenda items had been dealt with and our application was postponed. Finally, at the next meeting in Turia, we were unanimously accepted into the Alliance ((March 2013)). This gave me more scope to expand our salt trade.
In the meantime, the places in the Tahari had noticed that our salt trade posed an economic threat to them. The Sultan of Tor, Frederik, saw me as the main cause of the economic decline of his city and put a bounty on my head.
(([FredrickLordSavannah Nightfire], a great opponent and excellent role player. He has since died in real life too, his tomb is on the grounds of Gorean University.))
Another Emir of the Tahari by the name of Ibn Saran wrote me a letter and asked for a meeting in his Kasbah. He assured me of safe passage, but not without the comment that this only applied if I was dressed correctly.

OASIS OF NIZAAR - STORY REPLACEMENT

In the heart of the enigmatic Oasis of Nizaar, located on the shores of the beautiful Fayeen River, lies a tale as mysterious as the desert winds that whisper secrets through the palm trees. The oasis has seen countless pashas and wanderers pass through its shimmering gates, each leaving behind a piece of their story in its golden sands. Amongst the ancient dunes, the legend of the Onyx family looms large, a lineage that has withstood the test of time for four tumultuous decades. But tragedy struck the land when the recent Onyx family met a grim fate, paving the way for the arrival of the Sisters, Lady Sable and Lady Ailena Onyx along with Lady Sables' Twin daughters. Amidst the shifting sands and swaying palms, a dangerous underbelly thrives, where treacherous thieves lurk and the captivating allure of exotic goods, including those of human trafficking, which fuels the thriving merchant trade. Within the hidden alleyways and bustling markets, a world of intrigue and adventure unfolds, where danger and opportunity dance hand in hand under the scorching desert heat of Lar Torvis.

The Pasha, would later be discovered, as he had previous experience which endowed him with a unique perspective and a remarkable skill in weaponry. Recognizing the need for a male protector for the two Sisters in the Tahari, this special man, would step into this role effortlessly, especially when it came to inheriting their mother's home as the the newest of House Onyx to secure it. As the successor to their late Grandfather, the former Pasha, the newest Pasha, stepped up to take charge and fill the void left in the palace, by the previous Pasha, ensuring stability and leadership with his keen abilities. With a commanding presence, his influence extended to the City Guard, where he  hand picked a High City Guardsman to assist him in maintaining order. Amidst this transition, the allure of the Popular Baths, enchanting waterfalls, and serene pools captured the new Pasha's attention, making them prime locations for relaxation and strategic decision-making. His penchant for exquisite cuisine led him to appreciate the cozy Inns and charming Cafes scattered throughout the city, serving as the perfect venues for important discussions and leisurely gatherings. In the new Pasha's capable hands, the city flourished as it basked in his persuasive authority and commitment to safeguarding the well-being of its residents.

The tale of the two sisters, Lady Sable and Lady Ailena, is like a riveting saga straight out of a dramatic novel but with a touch of wit and charm. Born of distinguished parentage - their mother hailing from the exotic lands of Nizaar in the Tahari, and their Father a proud Citizen of the Glorious City of Ar. In the circles of wealth and opulence, they were revered as one of the wealthiest families. They had the privilege of indulging in the finest luxuries money could provide, from exquisite clothing to sumptuous feasts, and even the most appealing suitors vying for their affections. Lady Sable, a seasoned Companion with two grown daughters herself, faced a tragic twist of fate when her Companion met his demise by the bolt of an Assassin. This event led her back to the comforting embrace of her parental home, where she reunited with her fraternal twin sister, Lady Ailena. Following the shady demise of their grandparents, the sisters found themselves tasked with managing the ancestral lands in Nizaar. As the sole inheritors after their parents' passing, they stepped into a new chapter of their lives, navigating through the deserts of responsibility with a blend of inherited wisdom and newfound strength. It would be some time later, that whilst on a walk, that Lady Sable would come upon the man Ivarr, who would seemingly easily catch her eye, and she his, and they would drink the wine of Companionship.

The Oasis they inhabited, located 200 passangs beyond the nearest mountain range, was a flourishing paradise teeming with vibrant flora and fauna, nourished by the life-giving water that flowed gracefully through subterranean channels, culminating in a majestic waterfall that breathed vitality into the region.

 THE NIA DINZEO'S STORY

If you Listen carefully for the buzzing in the weeds and approach slowly, the wild woman dances among the hives.  A little mad but full of wild untamed energy, the Bees are crazy too. The simple life of Nia Dinzeo wasn’t always as carefree as it is now but the wild journey through life has allowed her grip on the honey market to be one of the strongest and longest lasting relationships between Free lady and Bee found in the Southern lands of this World, we call Gor.  The adventure began in the long-lost city of Fina, a thriving landmark along the Vosk River.  Nia stayed loyal to one city ever faithful till it fell to its ultimate doom. She would travel along the Vosk to set up shop at the next welcoming city open to her trade and again stay for as long as the city would stand one after another till she eventually found herself in the City of Turmus once again making a name for herself and a lasting impression on the city’s economy and trade with her sweet honey. Though she has made a name for herself as Nia the Bee Lady this is not where her story began.

A young Lady born to a Warrior and his companion in the city of Rovere.  Her memory of her original family Home Stone does not exist beyond her education and spending time at home with her father. Her mother had died when Nia was still too young to really remember her.  She was often told she had her mother’s hair and spirit.  She had heard stories of her mother being a panther long before she was inevitably companioned to her father but the truth of any of this was often veiled in kept close as if there were some secret her father did not wish to tell her.  She often wondered if her mother simply did not have what it took to be a Free Lady and returned to the forest. The truth about Rora, her mother was something she would never learn.  Nia was raised alone by her father with the help of a couple of slaves of course.  She was being guided in her learning towards the Scribes, she had a knack for numbers and loved the art of the written word. Despite this as her father’s only child and his desire for a son she was often subjected to weapons training, much to what Nia would imagine would have been her mothers’ dismay and her fathers’ joy.  Mikey, her father had learned the art of making weapons and would craft Nia her own blades as gifts teaching her to fight and hunt.  She never really had any great talent for any of it, but she enjoyed the time with her father as they were extraordinarily close. The young girl began to grow into a young woman.

It was in her late teens when everything changed. She had been traveling with her father often by wagon from one city to the next.  The reason for this was not divulged to Nia, she simply enjoyed the ride. Though there was something darker going on in her father’s life she was not aware of.  They eventually set sail headed to the Islands of COS. Nia had never been on a ship, nothing ever bigger than a small fishing boat.  She was overwhelmed with excitement as the journey began, often leaning over the rails watching the water as it seemed to part just for her. This joy did not last long as the ship soon fell under attack. Nia was collected bound and taken from the ship and soon found herself a nameless, naked soul in a cage stripped of everything she once was, beginning an entirely new life as nothing more than stock in a slavers kennel.

The journey of a slave took her up the Vosk, this was her first time seeing the great river she had only heard stories of. She had no idea in that moment the Vosk would soon become her compass for the rest of her life. He travels as a slave found solid footing at the gates of Fina. There she was greeted by her one day Master, the Ubar of Fina, Maddog Gadsby, of course she had no way of knowing this at the time. Nia was sold to the city kennel and would begin her training as a kajira.  Life was not easy for her, the adjustment was not quick.  She was not a stranger to slaves, she grew up in a home with two serving her every moment of her life but to be one, this was different. She behaved and tried to accept her fate, she served the city faithfully for many years.  Eventually her service was noticed by the Ubar who decided to purchase her. Nia had always been terrified of this man but the moment she felt his collar around her neck and the tumble of the lock as he turned the key something changed. A true kajira was born in that moment bound to her true Master. She found herself turning into something she had never dreamed of and eventually Nia, the dancer emerged.

Nia began dancing in the tavern, prior to being owned by the Ubar she never really enjoyed it.  It was forced and commanded but never felt.  It was not till After she was purchased, and she finally found her true slave heart the dancer grew into a force. Her dances took on a life of their own, telling her stories of desire, need, heartbreak. Her Master began entering his girl into competitions and she would win nearly every single one she ever entered. If she did not win she at least got 2nd.  The girl’s reputation as the greatest dancer there was traveled far, slaves would drop out of competitions if they saw her name on the lineup. It was during this time she was announced as the First Girl of Fina an honor the Free Woman Nia would never admit, means more to her than anything ever, even to this day.  As dance brought forth the pride of her Master and the true nature of the beast she was, dance would ultimately took everything she had grown to love away.

Nia’s Master had taken a companion and this companion did not like having the girl around. Nia was often training for her dances and busy in the city but the distance as her master pulled away was felt significantly.  He was always the source of the fire in her dances and without him her dances were difficult to perform. Nia began to learn a dance she had never done before, one she had never really felt, the Sa-Ela.  The Sa-Ela is the dance of the loved starved slave begging for her Masters affection. This was a new feeling for Nia but one she lived in as her dance took on a life of its own and she dwelled in that as she prepared for the next competition.  She would always show her Master her dance seeking approval prior to performing. This time she was in the company of him and his companion as she did her preview.  Her Master applauded. A time later Nia could only assume after his companion explained the dance to him properly did, he truly understand the defiance behind the performance. Nia’s Master put her on a boat taking her down the Vosk to drop her off and removed her collar tossing it in the river “You are no longer my girl” leaving her on the banks alone heart broken. Nia walked back to Fina submitting to the Free Lady Shoshawna Dharma who allowed her to dance in the coming competition.  It was the Ubar’s goal to leave the girl unowned and without permission to dance but a slave is a slave and she found a new home. Nia danced her last dance, winning First place in the competition but having lost everything.  Her former Master even showed up with his companion in an effort to intimidate that girl but if anything, it fanned the flame fueling the dance.  After the dance competition Nia’s new Mistress freed the girl formally and the life of Nia the Free Woman Bee Keeper was born.

Nia was now a woman and free and lost.  She had no known family to search for, her slave heart was broken, and she desired nothing but her Master who did not want her.  She left the city of Fina walking out of the gates lost, broken and with nothing but her manumission papers. She journeyed to a nearby peasant village seeking refuge. It was there Nia found the bees.  Nobody wanted to tend to them, they were all afraid.  Nia found comfort in the hives, she found safety in the bees. At this point in Nia’s life she no longer cared if she saw tomorrow so walking into a swarm was welcoming the end of her personal torture. Nia approached the hive holding her arms out defeated “come on, sting me.. take me away” She was so comfortable in ending her own life the bees did not sense a threat and left her alone. She looked around surrounded by the bees confused.. why were they not stinging her?  Nia made her way all the way to the hive reaching in grasping the loaded honeycomb pulling it out. Still nothing. This was when Nia the Beekeeper was born.

Nia found comfort among the bees, they kept her safe, they helped her avoid human contact. She became the village beekeeper, her honey was popular but she was seen as the wild Lady living with the bees. As Fina fell the village moved on. Nia picked up her home stone packing it in her bag venturing down the Vosk.  Her next stop was Port Victoria where her honey trade really took off and she first established her name. The Port eventually fell and she found her way to Telnus. Maybe she subconsciously went there with hopes of finding her father if maybe he survived the journey long ago but still she was isolated working her hives trading enough to survive with a great deal extra as it compared to her humble life. Once again, the city fell.

Nia landed in Turmus with barely enough stock to make her a season. Here she was alone and she was starting over. What she found in Turmus was nothing like she had ever seen.  The city seemed deprived of honey. The administration catered to her quickly providing everything she needed to be successful and to do it quickly. Nia had never lived in the city walls as a peasant she did not claim a Home Stone aside from the one she carried with her. Living in a city was a shock to the isolated Lady who lived wild and free in the hives. Citizens were kind to her, they welcomed her.. Her honey was popular talked about all over the city. Nia was overwhelmed with support. The City of Turmus took her in and wrapped her up safely in their arms allowing her everything she needed to acclimate to civilized life again. Eventually after the city provided her with wealth beyond her own need and contracts, she could barely keep up with it. She decided to make the hard decision to surrender her peasant life and apply to join the Merchant Caste and ultimately swear to the first official Home Stone of her free life. The simple Beekeeper flourished and her eyes and heart opened in so many complicated ways but the one thing that never wavered was the loyalty she had for the ones she loved.

Do not fear the wild woman in the hives, she has the sweetest reward you will ever find and all it will require is for you to simply say “Greetings Lady

.................................................. .........

The great event announced by the messengers of Corcius was finally held in the arena packed with spectators coming from all the cities of the Delta and some from the Cos archipelago, the Ubars themselves witnessed the dances that the beautiful Kajires and dancers put on scene, working harder than necessary to demonstrate their skill and make their art known.

Naturally many messengers were sent around the Wosk to make the event known, in the hope that it can be repeated in the next Hands given the success achieved.

The beautiful girls in their stage costumes represented what the

Shaman culture has represented on the planet for centuries, even if in recent years the Shamans have gradually retreated to their secret location, I will put below some photos that represent the most beautiful moments of the show together with photos of some visitors who most impressed me, hoping to please you.

Hats off from your editor ''darian

 NEWS FROM TURMUS

I arrived in Turmus City just in time to attend the city council meeting, and finally I was able to meet L'ubar, who was none other than Sir Bactu, an old acquaintance of mine, in my many travels I had the opportunity to meet many great characters who live in Gor, with him his companion the Ubara lady Selia, with whom I had already had the opportunity to speak other times since my arrival in the city.

Vosk brings us. A moment for all the people here to be grateful for our great river port, for the ships and caravans that bring us food, trade goods and visitors from all over. There will be sword fights, a fishing contest, favor games, tarsk contests, a slave hunt, vulo chariot races, broom fights, choking man contest, wine tasting, story telling, possibly fighting of slaves, with many generous gift cards and prizes donated by several

popular Gorean stores. It will culminate in a masquerade ball, and then the last day will be Kajuralia, when the slaves can run around, misbehave and cause trouble. There will be stalls for those who want to display their wares or artistic talent.

When I took the floor I pointed out to all the participants of the meeting the newsstand of the Gazette of Moons located on the landing near the pilgrims' camp outside the walls, I said that soon we would be able to write stories about the citizens and the city, and anyone with an interesting story you can contact me and after a short interview we can publish your story.

I had some pleasant surprises in the city of Turmus, I met my sister Lady Lucy in the sky, also the adopted daughter of Lady BB Arliss, we talked about the disappearance of our mother and why she abandoned us, then as I tried to remember the places of that great city, passing along a street I stopped amazed in front of the shop of Blacksmit, Sir Sven, a great friend of mine from the days of Port Victoria who also escaped during the fall, I have already written this.

I hope everyone will read our Gazetta which will soon have a page dedicated to the city of Turmus, a new project which I hope will come to fruition..............

RETURN TO THE CITY OF TURMUS

While I was at the Tashid oasis I received the news of some problems in the city of Var,

I was very worried about the fate of the slave Raffi, she was the only one in that city who had taken care of me and helped me during my stay. I asked the merchant of the caravan who had given me the news where they had been exiled, he told me that they had certainly been welcomed in the city of Turmus, a flash illuminated my mind, I remember I had been in that city many years ago, I was still young, and I was a Magistrate under the management of the Ubara lady Trinker, at the time I remember not many ships stopped in that port, it was off the trade routes and the city was slowly being emptied of its population who preferred to go to richer places to live comfortably.

Master sir Ember

I decided to leave for Turmus, I prepared my things and with a caravan I reached Shendi, where at the new port of Korat I would certainly find a ship for the island, after a few days stopped in that port I finally found a ship, it would take me on board not before making its stops along the coast, from Bazi to Brundisium, then finally to Turmus.

I arrived at the port, with curiosity, they had told me that many things had changed, the old Ubara had left when the city was semi-destroyed, and now rebuilt by Lady Sella, I don't remember ever having met her in my travels, but luck would have it that while from the port up the road that leads to the large entrance gate I met the Kajira raffi, when she saw me her eyes lit up and she told me in a low voice that her master Sir Ermes had changed his name as he had changed the city, and now her name is Rose, a beautiful floral name like her, I accompanied myself to the Inn where I sat on the soft cushions, she served me some good black wine and an unknown but beautiful and sensual Kajira danced on the small floor.

We waited until a guard notified us that the Ubara would receive me, and with Rose's help I reached the garden on the upper level where his palace overlooks, when I gave him my credentials she was very happy to have me with them, I proposed to her the possibility of putting a newsstand of the Gazette of Gor in the port, she was very enthusiastic, she asked me how long I would stay in the city and I told her that honestly after so much travel I would need a little time to reorganize my ideas and I told him I would like to stop here with you for some time, looking for something that I am missing in my hectic life of travel and adventures, to find a companion and a slave. She told me that I could settle down, take my bags and look for her again to have the keys to the city and an office for me, so I thanked her and asked Rose to speak to her master, the first step was done.

The second stop was to meet the private slaver Sir Ember, I asked him to buy a slave for my next home, but according to my instructions, he thought about it and promised me that he would get me the right girl.

I returned to Lady Sella for the possibility of having the office for the Gazetta as I had proposed to her. She thought about it for a while, then I headed towards the porticoes overlooking the port, assigning me a small office with large windows overlooking the sea. and on the back square, very nice and airy and constantly in sight of what is happening in the port, the slaves brought the furniture with frames where I hung my Emir portrait and the sign of the Gazetta of Moons, then exhausted I sat down in style desk and fell asleep.

I woke up early, I visited the city, a lot has changed but the large towers and the high walls are the same, today with the help of Rose the Kajira I will look for a house suitable for my caste and my rank... ..........
